Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the tiny screen. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of the field of physical therapy in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long. She shortly after made the move in Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various parts as an actor, such as local independent films and commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor roles, she quickly realized her passion for acting. In 2001, she moved to New York where her first part was in All My Children's soap in the role of Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut major show was The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time later. She played Marisol Deko and was also the spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. As Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. The show was canceled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian as well as having a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. She was raised by a religious and conservative family. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven old. Babysitters took her for her first audition. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. She was selected as one of just four girls. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway as well, such as the American musical version from Jane Eyre.
